Why implant planning needs more than a missing-tooth diagnosis

Good implant work starts with bone, gum, bite, and long-view maintenance, not just replacement urgency.

A missing tooth does not automatically dictate one treatment path. Bone quality, smile line, restorative goals, and hygiene ability all affect whether an implant plan is appropriate.

The consultation should look beyond replacement itself and consider how the restoration will function and age in the mouth.

That is why the best implant planning often feels slower at the beginning and more predictable later.
